
EMvision Medical Devices Limited is an Australia medical device company incorporated to commercialise electromagnetic microwave imaging technology developed at the University of Queensland over the last decade. The lead product in development is a portable brain scanner for rapid stroke diagnosis and point-of-care monitoring. The underlying technology has been developed by world leaders in electromagnetic medical imaging, Prof Amin Abbosh and Prof Stuart Crozier, whose IP is central to more than 65% of all MRI scanners manufactured and has been used in billions of scans.
Mac Equity raised the seed capital of $740,000 at $0.08 in September 2017 and a further $870,000 in a pre-IPO round at $0.16 in March 2018. Mac Equity was the lead manager to a successful IPO that raised $6m at $0.25 per share in November 2018. Mac Equity has also been involved with further raises of $4.5m at $0.74 per share in November 2019 as well as a $9m raise at $1.42 per share in July 2020.
